Animal Iridology

We can all tell much from an animals eyes - for example, horse owners often refer to an "honest eye" or "piggy eyes", and we can all see fear showing in a horse or pony's eye.

  Animal Iridology takes this even further.

Canine Iridology

Animal Iridology is the science of assessing an animals health by analyzing the fiber structure, color and markings of the iris of the eye. By assessing the various markings within a animals iris, a trained iridologist can detect past, present and future (developing) health issues. Ideally, developing health issues can then be addressed long before they become a problem that will affect the animals performance.

Animal Iridology enables the constitution of the animal to be assessed, shows organ and inherited strengths and weaknesses, where tissue is damaged or imbalanced, the extent of the damage and whether it is old or new. Iridology can also detect muscle spasms, digestion issues and can indicate if temperament changes may be a result of a physical problem. Iridology can often provide an explanation for a animals lack of performance or re-occurrence of an injury/problem.

Why Use Iridology

The iris records information about the state and functioning of every organ in the body as well as levels of inflammation and toxicity. This enables the underlying cause of the symptoms we may experience to be detected and removed.

The greatest advantage of iridology over other forms of health screening is that changes appear in the iris before the physical symptoms actually develops. Therefore preventive action may be taken to improve health and avoid those diseases which might otherwise follow.

Often pet owners are aware that their animal has a problem, but struggle to pin-point the origin of that problem. Iridology can be an extremely powerful diagnostic tool. Animal iridology can often be the missing link in a treatment where you are not quite sure why the horse is reacting or moving the way it does. An iridology assessment is particularly useful in the following circumstances:

  • Before buying a new pet: iridology can alert potential owners to past or ongoing health issues so that these can be managed effectively;
  • Before breeding from a animal: ideally both the Dam and Sire can be assessed for inherited strengths and weaknesses;
  • If a animal is showing behavioural issues: iridology can assess if there is an underlying physical reason for the behavioural issue;
  • If you have any health concerns over your pet;
  • If your animals performance drops, for no apparent reason;
  • A general ‘MOT’ for your pet: can assess if the current feed and management regime is suited to your pet.

Iridology monitors movements towards disease and towards health. As the tissues become less inflamed or toxic the iris registers the treatment response and healing process.

Iridology helps pet owners to become more aware of their animals strengths and weaknesses, and therefore to become more conscious of what they can do to help them.

Iridology is a safe, non-toxic, non-invasive and inexpensive method of analysis that can be integrated with both orthodox and complimentary medicine

Iridology is a universal language , the principles of which are common to all animals. Human iridology is now very highly advanced (See Eyology Page). Animal iridology has been studied extensively over the last twenty years, and is now making rapid advancements and becoming recognized as a important diagnostic technique for the management of animals health.

Today, Iridology is part of the curriculum in the medical schools in Moscow, the Bobigy Faculty of Medicine at the University of Paris Nord, and various Egyptian and Greek medical schools. It is used worldwide by natural medicine practitioners and we have even more extensive scientific resources for the ever continuing corroboration of our findings.

Note: Animal Iridology do not reveal disease and an appointment doesn’t lead to a diagnosis. While the iris can reveal some current conditions and stress affecting body systems, it is most useful for prevention and long-term health.
